Any time that the child can amuse themselves with, happily, for a half-hour is a definite winner. I used to LOVE toys that would hold Offspring's attention when she was small. Mother's little helper!
Amen. I can not only _leave_ the room, I can leave the room and go into another room and do something without the pitter-patter (or thump, thump, thump) of little feet following closely behind. In fact, I can even GO DOWNSTAIRS BY MYSELF without protestations!
I sure hope this lasts!
