I think you did the right thing. Even erring on the side of caution, and saying that she had mental troubles and might not have totally been in touch with reality, it was STILL the right thing.

There's something about that fear in the eyes. Once you've seen it, you can recognize it immediately.

Thank you for being the goo, kind-hearted person that you are. I really hope you helped her. It doesn't make your situation any less, but I look on it as a cosmic kind of 'pay it forward.' You're a good woman.

KLee, thanks for your perspective. I've played it over a million ways in my head since then, and I keep coming to the same conclusion. I had to play the cards that way.

I wonder about her from time to time and hope that life has dealt her a better hand.
