I wish I were able to come and meet you and Andrea at Motherlode, but alas and alack -- I am way too far away. So I'll send you my wishes for a glorious time had by all instead!

Hi KLee! I hadn't meant to make the post sound exclusive of folks not going to The Motherlode. I've edited to make it inclusive of terrific folks like you too... 'cause I really do appreciate y'all!

We'll create trip reports on the event and be sure to keep you informed!

Oh, I didn't think you were going for exclusivity -- it's not "you" at all, the superiority schtick -- but just a lament that I am stuck down here in the hinterlands, and not able to meet the "cool kids" at the hangout to play. Poor me! :)

I'm looking forward to trip reports, though! :)

Good thoughts about reasons for blogging. Letely mine is more in the cheap therapy/feedback/help me save my sanity category.

But there are quite a few things I post (like my Airborne research post) that I think would fall into another category--maybe public service/information? It's stuff I post mainly because I think it might be interesting, helpful or useful to others out there besides just me.

I have a series about cloth diapering--choosing, using, laundering and sewing diapers--in the works that I think will fit into that category too.
