Oh! You're going to be there!

I wish I could be, but I had a friend plan coming in to town from Ottawa this weekend first--and I can't miss that. :( Poo. I would have loved to see you.

Frances will be there with Erik, though.

I guess you can't get away with a gift card, huh?

Andrea: bummer. Thems the breaks, I guess. Have a blast with your out of town visitor! You can be sure I'll give Frances a wee squeeze -- whether she wants it or not!

Snay: I suppose I could.... kids that age love having their "own credit cards." ;)

I hope the birthday party went okay! (I had to comment on the wrapping paper -- for small children, the comics are great fun! And, if you want it to be combined with an art activity, give wM some butcher-block paper, and some crayons or markers, and let her color. Then, use THAT as wrapping paper! You can always pick your present out in a crowd, AND it's inexpensive and one-of-a-kind!

KLee, the birthday party was FABULOUS! Twenty pre-schoolers, a half-dozen infants and 30+ adults in an indoor playground ... what's not to like? (Except maybe the noise level.)

The presents were carted-off, unopened. No stink-eye. Thanks for your support on the use of coloured comics! Good tips on the "do it yourself" wrapping paper too!
