The experts suggest leaving children at home, shopping on-line, or using other means, such as a stroller, to ferry a child around a store

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! (pant pant, gasp gasp)

These experts is surely male? Or at the very least, never had sole care of a child for the majority of that child's waking hours?

There's an Independent Grocer near me that has (wait for it) FREE child minding. Can you believe it? And if you don't feel like leaving the little ankle-biters behind, they also have those shopping-cart-cars to make it more fun for the toddler-preschooler set.

It's been my Monday-off ritual all summer to stop off at Timmy's on my way to said Independent, then peruse the aisles as s-l-o-w-l-y as possible. Who knew grocery shopping could be so enjoyable? I never read so many product labels in my life!

Wow Dani! That sounds Too Good To Be True! Brilliant idea. Sounds marvelous.

Wow, I would totally take my business to a store with free child-minding. Even if I had to drive 15 miles out of my way to get there.

The car shopping carts are nice, but Lyra won't stay in them. After the first few aisles, she climbs out.
