Well, I did pretty well with my personal promise to NOT visit the craft stores, but it sure is hard for me. I bought nothing, which has got to be some sort of record for me.
My other two promises, I have not done so well on. I have yet to do the research on composting, and I should've known better than to try and promise to attempt to GROW anything. I swear I heard the seeds laughing at me. I have a black thumb. Plants would rather die right in the store than have me take them home. I swear I'll give it a go, but I'm also pretty sure that it won't end well.

Good luck on the composting front. For years we just dug holes in our gardens and dumped our veggie scraps into them and covered them back up. Doesn't work so well for meet or when the ground freezes though!
As for the growing things... I'm sure you'll be fabulous! You're a natural nurturer!
