Yep. It's especially annoying to have to go to the dentist and pay an arm and a leg to make sure that it isn't some jaw-bone eating infection!
If you continue to grind, you can go buy (very inexpensively, and in practically any sporting goods section) a mouth guard like a football player or boxer might wear, and this may save you some dental pain, and some jaw pain later down the line.
I have TMJ, and I have a mouth guard for those nights when my jaw really hurts. Also, taking naproxen sodium helps, because it is an anti-inflammatory.
